Baptist believes that by investing in the lives of our children and students
today, we will make a difference in the world tomorrow. Here are some of the
opportunities for you or your children to get involved:
Students from 6th to 12th grade meet every Wednesday night at 6:30 PM to learn how to live their life at the crossroads of biblical truth and our contemporary culture. Fun activities, Bible study and work projects help students to learn more about Christ and how they can live for Him.
Children Kindergarten through 5th grade meet every Wednesday night at 6:30 PM (September through April) in a fun, action-oriented learning adventure called F.W. Friends. There is a time of singing, story, games and small group time every week as children learn more about Jesus.
Infants through adults meet for Sunday School every Sunday morning at 9 AM. Classes start with our nursery class (0-2 yrs.), 3-K class, 1st -4th grade, 5th-8th grade and 9th - 12th grade classes. This time of interactive teaching will help every student learn more about the Bible and how God wants them to live out their lives for Christ.
Each summer, one week stands out above the others — the week of our Bible School! Children from age 4 through 6th grade have the opportunity to spend extended time learning more about Jesus and his love for them by participating in songs stories, games and crafts.
Calvary Baptist is associated with Camp Burton (Ohio) which provides summer camp from 1st grade through high school. These camps are wonderful times of growing deeper in Christ (or perhaps discovering who God is for the first time). There are various special events, like our Children's Christmas program, and other ministries are being developed to build into the lives of our children and students (like last summer's First Chapter reading group).
